Yes, that was just a generalization (a harsh one at that) but sometimes the truth hurts, and unless my psychology professors are lying to me then the truth hurts:shrug:

People always say "protect our troops, there out there keeping us safe"  :lol:  No they are just there as means for profit for greedy weapons manufactures and corporations.

The only thing that is protecting us is our stockpile of nuclear weapons.

Why is it that everyone believes every damn thing spouted to them by their college professors?  So many of these idiots spend more time trying to indoctrinate students into their way of thinking instead of just teaching the curriculum.  If you learn nothing else in college then at least learn to question authority figures and make up your own mind based on the facts rather then what someone "more important then you" says.

Explain to me what is hard about the military, besides the physical training all that is, is motivation and will power and moderate intelligence (not very difficult)
or
Using dendrochonology and skeleton graphs to look at past climate changes in order to predict future climate?

Some days I am sad I frequent this site.  I can't believe you just said nanomachines were a plausible cause for this disorder.  You need a better bullshit detector.  How can you listen to that woman and think that doesn't sound absolutely bat shit crazy?  Hair loss that is replaced by psuedo hair.  Which spins!  Cool, someone get me some of these nanobots so I can have possessed arm hair too.

There are many different kinds of hysteria which people suffer from where they will share many common symptoms.  I think it is fair to say most of these people are self-diagnosed with Morgellon's so they know what to expect.

Have you checked out the other areas of expertise of Dr. Hildegarde Staninger?  She is into a snake oil compound called Oaky Smokey which is oak tree ash, enhanced by SCIENCE, that I guess makes life better.  She is into the healing powers of saunas.  And she sells something to help you lose weight that is made up of plant oils and herbal extracts.

I wonder why she is investigating Morgellons instead of an actual dermatologist who would be an expert on skin disorders.  Lets be serious, all of the things I found on her website are not products of scientific inquiry.  She is proud of the fact they are traditional recipes from the old east or whatever fantasy book she plucked them from.  And yet her she is on the fore front of this disorder, making an incredible scientific discovery of true nanomachines (and she said nano particles a lot too, in fact there were many good buzz words, she is fond of making things sound science-y).  Which by the way, if these machines did exist, it would be very easy to independently verify that.  In which case someone who is not bat shit crazy would probably make a better source.

Also in Benney v. Shaw Industries, Inc., her argument was so good that the court was forced to excluded her opinion that the plaintiff's MCS was caused by carpeting and a "bug bomb" as her methodology was unreliable. The court also excluded as unreliable the testing of Dr. Alan Broughton's laboratory as not the type reasonably relied upon by experts in the field.  Her bullshit doesn't stand up in court, because she is a quack.

I never believed any of that shit, i said it was possible.  And if its not possible explain to me why its not then instead of spending all your time saying im wrong....

It seems like the shroomery is soo touchy when it comes to the military and the government.  Do you think the gov't tells us 2% of what they are actually doing or any truth about anything at all?  They don't exactly have a good humanitarian track record, why should i believe ANYTHING they say. 

They planned to test nerve gas on australians for christ sake!

I don't know, I suppose we could start by delving into military science.

Why not start with moving from Clausewitz to Sun Tzu, From Mao to Blackburn. Can you apply the lessons of guerrilla warfare from the past into the current conflicts?

Do you think you could handle creating an insurgency or counter-insurgency? Do you speak more than one language?

Could you understand second and third-order effects of taking a group of indigenous troops and leading them in an uprising?


Can you direct rotary wing and fixed wing aircraft on target with nothing but a map and compass, while keeping yourself from harm's way?

Can you keep accountability of anywhere from 12 to 30 people on a daily basis, while trying to improve them as soldiers steeped in 7 years of war?

Can you contract local laborers to construct buildings to US code in a foreign country where the prevailing mode of transportation is donkey cart?

Could you direct a rolling convoy of angry soldiers through gunfire, IED's, and an angry populace without losing a man?

Can you account for over 750k in operational funds to improve the surrounding villages with a missing penny?

Can you interview insurgents, gather credible evidence from their accounts, combine other data and recon into an objective and then execute a mission from it?

You think my job is just order taking? You think that's what Iraq and Afghanistan is really about? You are sadly mistaken.

I can answer yes to this and much more. There are more soldiers, marines, airmen, and sailors like me then your narrow worldview cares to acknowledge.



but hey, at least you know we're heading for an ice age because a professor told you so.

:thumbup: Wow, school and work full time huh? I only left that to join the army after 3 years because it was a joke. I was tired of being indoctrinated by teachers with agendas.

I'm not a product of any system you've had the brief chance to study. It's funny to see which of us has judged whom first, and on what premises.

Right, my point wasn't that you believed it, you believed it was possible.  Even after I pointed out to you the absurdity of the situation, you still sit there and say that it's possible.  You believe it is possible that a complete quack has discovered nanobots causing a disease which reliable experts say is a mental illness, because you saw one short video on it.  That makes you a fool... sorry.

Okay you have a legitimate argument against mine, that all i fucking ask, is to prove me wrong with logic instead of calling me a tard.

And yes we will go into an ice age from global warming its called the thermohaline circulation and if you don't believe me look it up for your self.  When the salinity of ocean waters gets to a certain point then the circulation doesn't work properly and you get a global ice age from a multitude of factors
including a gulf stream that doesn't properly work.

btw...if you don't think my professor know what she is talking about why don't you know see how qualified she is for me course:)

Dude, I really don't have a big issue with you. The moment my browser window closes, my shroomery-debates end. I wish you would use the same "you're a preprogrammed system of thought from everything you've learned" rhetoric on yourself when you start a thread, or derail someone elses.

Just because my posts bring unpleasant and emotional provoking doesn't mean you should hate me, everyone respected me and never called me a tard until i said that the military is a business, just like EVERYTHING else.

Don't hate my stance on a particular institution, try and see where im coming from, analyze my view point, and tell me in your opion whether im wrong or right about anything instead of just unconsciously shouting with in the emotional context of the situation.

I for lack of personal experience say its psychosomatic. I'm assuming that the nervous system is only capable of experiencing stimuli in a finite number of ways, which explains the consistency of symptoms professed by the victims.

My opinion on chemtrails is fairly skeptical. I admit I don't know what's going on up there in the persisting trails, but I'd need to see some more solid evidence indicating why those perpetrators feel a need to inconvenience our population with nanomachines that fester into sores.
