chocolate erases the taste and smell of mushrooms better then anything.. if u use a bunch of m&m's or smarties the crunchieness of them well make u forget about the crunchyness of the mushrooms and it hides the taste and smell... either that or u chould mix it all up in a drink.. after u dice it off course

I now have the same response to shrooms...simply smelling them makes me gag. Not that that hinders consumption...basically, you mix them with anything you like and it should be okay. Washing them down with orange juice works well too...it washes out the taste AND you get the Vitamin C...

This is wierd, everyone says how much they don't like the taste, but I can't see how. the times i have eaten them, they have been dry, and everyone that has had them as well haven't minded them. I can't say that I am going to use them in spagetti or something, but they weren't that bad. So maybe if they are dry makes a difference?

Hi guys....
Try this:
1- Grind the mushies
2- prepare a tea
3- when the tea it's still hot add the ground mushies
4- wait about 10 minutes mixing severeal times and filter
5- enjoy

Important: dont add sugar to the tea
Also nausea its very reduced this way and the set on of the mushies it's very fast...

2. Open can of strawberry yoghurt
3. Mix ground up shrooms with yoghurt
4. Eat

I gag at the smell of shrooms too.. dunno why

get some capsules (empty) from health food store, grind dry shrooms into powder, stuff into capsules. no taste, no problem.

Truthfully i love the taste of mushrooms, never had a problem eating them raw before. Yet the Shroomery does has recipes for those who cant handle the taste..

As Stranger suggested, the ancient MesoAmericans used 'Chocolotyl' along with
'Teonanycotyl' (God's flesh). As for another
suggestion similar PjS, dried, blender-ground
added to applesauce (easier to digest than yogurt because of the fruit pectin, and because the magic won't become coated with protein or fat). :smile:

Well, one way to reduce the taste of shrooms is to eat crap for about a week or so. Then the shrooms will taste fine. :smile: In all seriousness though I found grinding them up into a powder reduces the taste when poured into the mouth. Don't tip your head back too far though, I did that once and damn near killed myself.
