How much money do you spend a week on vices?

I was just gonna say booze, but I'd rather not hear from the "I don't spend any money on booze because I'm above alcohol" crowd.
So how much do you spend on vices (drug vices that is)?
You know, weed, booze, opiates, etc. etc.

when i smoked, it'd be ~15 on beer and $50 on weed a week.

Now that i dont smoke, it's about $75 on alcohol.

My vices make me money.  Not a bunch, but they pay for themselves.

For the record I typically spend between $100-$150.
I'm working on cutting back, I can't afford to keep that up.

Too much...

At my worst-250 a week on just opiates

Right now-60 a week on just opiates

factor in other stuff and its a lot higher, but thats my mmain vice

It's low for a number of reasons, but I'm actually getting ALOT higher.:cool:

About 150 a week I'm thinkin..



42ish on cigs...more like $50 i guess

about 50 a week on weed


and about...it depends what I get, alcohol wise...at least 50 more..

The wife smokes 2 packs a week, I've gone back to 2 cans of Skoal a week, that's about 12 bucks a week.

About 3 cases of beer and a bottle or two of tequila a week- 65 bucks or so.

77 bucks a week.

My wife tokes occasionally, maybe a 20 bucks a week.

97 bucks a week on vices.

my main vices are ganja and beer. i wont pay under a dollar a beer, usually then the quality always weakens. so i pay usually 12.99 for a 12 pack of some decent IPA (my favorite kind) and i usually go through 4-6 beer each day, with 2 days out of the week where i drink only 2-4 beers. so a rough estimate on beer is $40 a week. now weed is about $75 a week for one quarter or decent grade stuffs. so per month, my vices cost me about $450 dollars. my weed consumption has been declining slightly where i always have some left over when i buy more for the next week.

if i didnt get these vices though i would be far more miserable than i already am. having a sweet bowl to smoke has calmed me down in several situations where i possibly could have taken my own life or made it worse. and no matter what i always look forward to beer. i love it so much, along with weed is a great combo.

i need to find someone whod be willing to trade for fungus!

I don't pay for weed, otherwise I would be extremely broke.  I used to drink a couple micro brews every night, but I cut back drastically to save $.  I'd say $100 a week on expensive food and quality produce, my only other vice.

No, but I have a significant amount of money in savings.
However luxuries is the last thing it should be spent on, and there are times I feel extremely guilty about spending it as frivolously as I do.

I have started talking to a coach of a relatively new varsity lacrosse program in the area and I volunteered to coach. He told me that he's always willing to accept help and that he can probably pay me too.
If I could get that and another part time job I'd be good to go.

a pack of ciggs every other day - 4*$5= 20 bucks
a six pack a day - 7*$6= 42 bucks
a quarter of weed a week - 1*$30= 30 bucks

92 dollars a week on vices.

I might buy another quarter if I end up sharing my weed, but I usually sit at the house smoking weed and studying.

I didn't think of food, but I eat out all the time.  I love food, and it probably is a vice for me.

Yeah, if we're counting luxury dining (not cooked or home or budget restaurants), then I'm easily at $150+ a week.

Food expenses fluctuate greatly.
Whenever I run out of groceries I eat out allllllllll the time because I'm a lazy piece.
Once I get to the grocery store again (I don't know why I don't go more often, I love grocery shopping) then I probably eat out once a week MAX.
So it's hard to say how much I spend weekly on that.

alcohol varies anywhere from 20-100$ a week easily. (fucking bars)

i dont smoke so that saves me some cash

i really need to cut down on the bars and just stick with a couple nice six packs and have some buddys over.

I'm not clear on what that means. Are you saying you're spending less but you're getting a lot higher?  Did you switch from prescription opiates to street dope?  That definitely saves you money for about a week, but then tolerance skyrockets and you end up spending almost as much as you were spending before.  Thats what happened to me and a lot of other people I know.  Thank god those days are behind me.

Currently I limit myself $50 of spending money per week.  I usually spend all of it on the weekend. Sometimes I spend half on friday and the rest on saturday, and sometimes I blow all of it in one night.  I don't make much money and I have a lot of shit to pay for, so even $50 a week is setting me back considerably.  But what can I say, vices are important.  They have a vice-like grip on my soul.
