Lame terms/phrases/words

Do you have a habit of saying any lame words no one really says? I say "neat" a lot, if something's really impressive. People call me out on it all the time.. like, "Who says neat?"

I whip out "groovy" sometimes, when I'm feeling frisky or snarky.

Exactly, it's fun to have "your own" phrases and stuff. People just tend to look at me weird when I use dated/esoteric colloquialisms.

I tend to use the phrase "not overly" a lot.
As in:
"Do you want to get your face smashed in?"
"Not overly"

I love "Rad" or even "Radical". I don't really use it, but i like it. I think the most persistent phrase is "cool". Cool has been a cool word for a long time now.

a few weeks ago i smoked a blunt with this younger kid and he asked for "zine" and i was like :wtf:. didn't realize he was referring to visine.
