That's what you don't really understand about the Shroomery.  It's not 'just the internet' for some people when you've met the majority of frequent posters in person and have shared countless high-intensity experiences with them.  They become your friends and family and this online place becomes a COMMUNITY that you value.  Those of us who have been here for awhile have practically chronicled our lives here and I'll be the first to admit I am invested in the community here.  My life would not be the same without this place. 

The Shroomery is a point of connection.  You clearly don't understand the value of the place.  Some of us do take what happens here seriously to an extent, especially when you are active 'beyond the screen' in real life with the people you are communicating with.
