this halloween is finally over

i hate holidays and i'm glad everyone can stop their merry making.  seeing the masses happy and excited makes me angry and sad.

uncorrelated this was my best halloween since i was a little kid, since i got to see henry rollins instead of sit and my house and brood like i've been doing since a little after i was a little kid.

this halloween has sucked balls. the indian girl i was with is off flirting with a douchebag in some other girl's dorm right now and it's got me feeling like shit. unfortunately, i think i've blown my chances of any further encounters with this girl, so i've gotta just live with it.


ah well...at least i have a bottle of 151. tomorrow is the real party night anyways.

on of my beliefs is that evil cults of bacchus have an unbroken tradition of secret magical ceremonies working to cut off man from what in philosophy i guess is called reason.  i see evidence of this everywhere.

Call it what you want, but harvest celebrations are a pretty powerful thing.

People release a lot of inhibitions and judgments during this holiday, and I've really come to appreciate that.

It helps people to work through the emotional/psychological/spiritual burden of the changing seasons. Halloween is a way of helping people accept death, and to move on into living life and enjoying it, instead of getting hung up on and depressed about the inevitable endings.
