straw vs. dung . . . pros and cons . . .
    #915142 - 09/28/02 05:14 PM (14 years, 2 months ago)

i was considering adding some dung to my usual straw substrate (1:3 ratio) next time i spawn . . . but a thought occured to me . . . considering my situation, dung is really an easier and cheaper material to use and prepare . . . and i know that dung by itself will work fine . . . so, my question is, what advatages are there in using straw by itself, or a straw/dung mixture? what disadvantages are there in using just dung?

well . . . what i guess i'm actually getting at is . . . why not use ALL dung instead of sitting there, cutting up straw until my hand hurts?
