Ive had a few episodes of psychosis. The first one was the worse, i went completely insane. The next couple of ones were all pretty bad. But every one Ive had i have learned how to handle better. I learned to not let myself slip into fantasy or paranoia and to not let my brain go out of control. On the plus side my brain is a lot more active than it used to be. Its constantly churning out thoughts and ideas, if i don't control it using my will power it can literally send me insane. I can create ultra complex designs in my head, similar to the type of thing you see while tripping. Its also really forced me to analyse my life in detail and i think has made me a better person. I think my brain is more powerful now, but because of the extra power its also harder to control and has a tendency to take over.

I'm pretty sure I'm mentally ill.  But I am only mentally ill sometimes.
