What the hell was that? Schizophrenia?

I was just getting ready to take a shower when one of my walls had 20-30 points of light on it. they were extremely brilliant, emanated out from very small points and moved around at varying speeds.  this lasted approximately 10-15 seconds.

I have been sober for over a month, never a heavy user of anything in particular.  i prefer massive doses very infrequently. ....if that helps.

I found the whole thing to be very strange and they were still there even when i moved myself around.

i've heard this can be one of the early symptoms of schizophrenia, and i am in the prime age for these symptoms to begin to manifest (19)  although my family has no history of any mental illness

I wouldn't worry too much. Wait until you have reoccurrences to worry, otherwise your giving yourself unnecessary paranoia. After reading about HPPD I thought I had it. Then I realized I didn't think about it for half of a year.

Or you are schizophrenic. :shrug: Best time in history to be schizophrenic, or HIV positive.

if i had someone diagnose me as schizo i could make peace with it but this was a little strange coming out of nowhere :eek:

i hear voices but my psychiatrist hasn't diagnosed me as schitzo...nor are the voices going away with medication...what the hell do i do?

i was just like... man... im not gonna argue about this but you should really go online and do some research about psychedelics before you scare off some people who could've really benefited from them.
