how can I fix this situation with a girl?

Well today...I kind of came off as a dick to a really attractive female.

I was walking into a class, and she said "Hello." I am not very sociable, so barely anyone knows me, and I am not confident. So I thought she was talking to someone else. When I was a few steps away, she said, "uhh...I guess not then..." I was thinking about other stuff so it kind of took me a minute to realize she was saying hello to me...and I completely blew her off. Now I feel like a complete dick, and she probably thinks I am a dick. How can I fix this? Should I say hello to her the next time I see her to let her know that I am interested in talking to her?

I am socially retarded...

well if she really digs you as a friend or more than come clean with her,tell her you thought she was talking to someone else and you dug yourself into a hole when you realized she was talking to you and well....nah

or

approach her as soon as you see her and say,

'dont you say hello to me anymore?,yesterday i was a bit crook and you ignored me....'

when she asks what was wrong with you say you had a middle ear infection and ear ache and migrain

she might even pamper you after my advice.... :crankey:
