Adventure upon an adventure
    #9104692 -

About a month ago, I left to the wild, with the intention to live there indefinitely. When I accidentally missed my bus stop, I had to hitch-hike back about 20 miles near my stop by which time it was getting late and I decided to spend the night at a campsite, and leave for nature in the morning.

While I was there, a really nice couple came towards my campsite, we had some laughs, a beer, wine, and we just talked for a long while. I told them my situation, and the woman happened to frequently take teens and young adults into her house to help them out. They offered me to live with them, and it took me a while to make the decision, but I made it and now I've been living with them for about a month with no major problems.

Just letting people know so nobody's surprised if I make a post here on the Shroomery. Everybody, take good care of yourselves.

Cool man, sounds like it was meant to be that you missed and met them. Good luck!

Some of us thought for sure you'd be dead by now.  Sounds like the nice old lady saved your life. :smirk:

Maybe while you've got a comfortable place to stay you can start taking some excursions into the wilderness for a day or two at a time.  Work up to a week, then two, etc.  Give you a chance to hone your skills and learn what you'll really need when/if the time comes that you make the plunge.  I figure the nice couple who took you in might not have a problem with you coming and going while you do this.  After all, if they care enough about your well being to take you in in the first place they might be supportive of you if you still want to do the wild-man thing.

Anyway, godd to see you're not bear fodder yet.

Yeah, we were discussing how it's weird that certain people seem to be meant to meet each other. Thanks for the good wishes!

It's pretty goddamn cold where I am and it's about to snow, and I have to look for work, so I wouldn't have much time to practice my wilderness skills until I have a fixed schedule.

I still wonder where I'd be if I decided not to go with them.......:fearandloathing:

Seriously dude, and the people here smoke weed and cigarettes and use pills pretty often, so the atmosphere here is really chill, besides the occasional confrontations between the 18 and 16 year old that live here.

I tried LSD my first time here with the 16 year old and his friend and had a GREAT trip! I love acid and I wish I could feel that energy it gave me for eternity!

The only shitty thing about my story is I never even told my family I left and there's all these issues from home that I have to resolve within myself, but the LSD just makes things go by 1,000 times faster! It's like going to a psychiatrist for a month!

Nobody in my family has e-mailed me or contacted my myspace, so you know, how the fuck should I feel about that? They're the type of family that if you're depressed and feel like killing yourself, they will act like they don't give a fuck hoping that that will solve everything.

But I will contact them, eventually.....

Wow, that looked beautiful, especially because I am still experiencing lingering HPPD from the acid I took two days ago. It made me warm inside, like this guy ====> :hippie:
