anyone have success w/ a tropic aire humidifier?
    #910492 -

I was just wondering if anyone had any success using a tropic aire humidifier / air exhanger in their humidity chamber. From what I have researched it seems like it should actually keep 100% humidity in up to a 55 gal container, I just wanted to know if anyone had tried it.

Thanx in advance,
subtlepoint

Link to tropic aire for those interested.

I finally broke down and bought one seeing as noone has tested it, and it works great. I put it in a 32 gal sterilite container and didn't even have to seal it for it to generate a 100% humidified atmosphere in less than an hour. It also exchanges the air wonderfully. I actually found a different model at petsmart for 20 bucks without the air pump, I just hooked it up to cheap ol' double pump using a valve coupler that I also bought at wal-mart for 3 bucks. The setup seems to be working wonderfully. I would definately recomend this product as an easy way to kill 2 birds with 1 stone.

Peace,

its a dark plastic container..with 2 connections at the top for hoses..theres a spongy filtery thing on the inside..air goes in one way and comes out the other passing through the filtery spongy thinggy. and goes in the terrarium...its very simple but its not just a cup of water..
