Just wondering whats everybody favorite free games right now...

mine are

mmofps - combat arms

mmorpg - Shaiya

are there any better ones out there??

well, i don't play it, but a bunch of people in my clan love it.  Online RPG called rappelz.  I think the open beta finally kicked off for blackshot, which is another online FPS.  I was in the closed beta test for that one, and it's got SOME promise as long as they fix the latency issues.  I still think CA is better though.

Gunz was fun for a while, eventually I lost interest. Mainly because it reminded me of the Half-Life mod the Opera, but didn't quite live up to it. Anyone who liked Gunz definitely needs to try that if they haven't already.

Yeah Gunz actually did get old very fast.  Plus there were a lot of hackers and just dumb stuff that ruined the experience for me.  All in all a pretty cool free game though.

yah, the hacking situation is seriously out of fucking control on CA.  Every match has a few chammers, lots of no recoil no spread sprinkled throughout as well.  I don't seem to run into the major hacks as much (god mode, opk, blatant speed hacks) because it's just too obvious.  But they're still out there.

Plus i think there's a new VIP out that actually lets you shoot THROUGH the walls.  I haven't determined if i was killed via a glitch, or if it was a hack, but last night i was killed three times in the sewer @ warhead through a fucking wall.

And until they switch up the way the do things on blackshot, the lag will make that game forever impossible to play.

yea that's because the god mode is a VIP hack means you have to pay for it the no fall dmg, wall hack is free

you can get a lot more then no fall and chams for free.  Last i checked tgs' pub had no spread, no recoil, chams, no fog, and no fall.  God mode, speed, and aimbots are all VIP, it still amazes me that people would pay for hacks on a free game.  I guess 12 year olds with access to mommy and daddy's bank account have nothing else better to do.

Play CA, hate the hackers, and i'm a good player so i've been reported 4 times, thankfully Nexon has yet to follow though, I don't hack.

Loved blackshot, was awesome at the game, but played private rooms with people with good connections only (no lag)

nexon doesn't follow through with shit, so i doubt you have anything to worry about.

Insurgency is a pretty fucking good game for it being free.

Its only free if you have Half Life 2 though. Needs to install into halflife2.exe.
