Really? This is news to me. Do you know what that time limit is? Because some posts (i.e. How old a are we - results and interesting stuff) have been edited a number of times over an extended period. I'll go try and edit some of my old posts and see what happens.

The edit time limit has been changed to 24 hours.
I think 3DShroom can elaborate on this.

Editing times have been changed to 24 hours to speed up the forums. I don't see much need to edit a post more than 24 hours after making it.

Posts on our site shouldn't be order forms for your customers. Tell them to go to your site and order. That way you don't have to come back to our site and edit your posts. You can just edit your site.

What about the grow log forums where people want to update their original post to keep the log in 1 section and not broken into bits here and there with other users' comments in-between? Personally I like the first post to be the entire growlog.

I haven't thought about that. We will either raise the limit on all the forums or modify it just for that forum.

Very good point Frog!

I would have to agree with the grow log forum edit.
It's nice to go in and edit and add pictures to the first post.
Since there is an upload limit on pictures.....for 24 hours.

You should change it for all of them. I don't see why there should be a time limit...just seems to create problems. Unless there is a good reason for doing this that I'm missing...?
