It's possible, but that quote preceded the debate season.  It was in response to his twofacedness about gender politics following the Palin pick.

Non of those are polls, and drudge report is not a fucking news source. Hell CNN has headline like those but their polls still show she lost, by voters who watched the debate.

I really don't know how it got to the point where the media is praising Sarah Palin and how well she did.  She didn't mess up, but is this really the standard that a vice-president should be judged by?  I mean I watched the debate and looked through the transcript and it seemed that Sarah Palin was just repeating party talking points.  She kept saying "We need to" or "We have to" followed by a general statement.  I want a vice-president to be able to actually think for him/herself and frankly I haven't seen an interview where she has done this.  She's either having trouble uttering a complete thought, being babysat by John McCain, or regurgitating talking points.  Who is the real Sarah Palin?  Everyone seems to have bought into this image of a down home hockey mom, but I haven't seen her being herself.
