Crushes

Every time I get a crush on a girl I start getting weird.

Everything that is important to me like school, and my hobbies get put on the back burner.  I tend to think about the girl nonstop and run through 1000's of scenarios in my mind involving interaction with said crush.  This of course builds tension to the point where I freeze up and get nervous when we interact in real life (but that’s not what this thread is about). 

Specifically, when I get a crush on a girl, it’s really hard for me to study and concentrate because my mind tends to wonder towards the crush.

Sometimes this even leads to depression or anti social tendencies toward other people and even towards other girls.

WTF, why am I so stupid!?!?  Please help me.

Dude this used to happen to me all the time, and still does to some extent.

Theres really only one solution, and thats to simply say FUCK IT. Think about your crush, and say just you don't give a damn about her. I know it sounds cold, and opposite of what you should think, but trust me it helps. Try to convince yourself that you don't need her. Either that, or just think of ONE thing you want to say to her, and don't try to create scenarios about it in your head.

Obviously, you know you still want her. But this way when your around her your head wont be filled with useless crap and you won't freeze up around her, everything will just flow naturally.

Trust me, it helps with the stress too.
