My own cowfield ID needed
    #8943500 -

I have heard alot of people finding big loads again so i went into my own cowfield just out front of my house and found be a small bundle around fifteen, found some definate pans and some other non-active mushrooms (or atleast to my knowledge.) I did find what appears to me to be some libs. I have asked for your expertise again and hoping to get lucky, if its so then im gonna head back out tomorrow morning and get picking.

Habitat: Cowfield - Found in a cowfield, obviously your usually patties around and grew in a batch.

Gills: browny tint of purple maybe (Might be my eyes), cap is also kind of closing.

Stem: Little lighter then the cap and kind of whitish/brown near bottom. the stem is very crooked and bendy. 7mm

Cap: Again a browny yellow with a definate nipple on top.

Spore print color: Brownish almost kind of purple as well.

Bruising: No color change was observed.

Location: North east scotland

I did get a few pics of a single one I found the best so tell me what you think

yeah sorry about that I cant get it sorted and its a brand new digital camera. :frown:  I would have to agree with the look of it but im not 100% sure so no risks gonna be taken but it seems to have all the right characteristics so hopefully.

Macro mode appears to be turned on, I went over to a neighbour though that enjoys mushroom hunting, although just to find edible ones for salads and such. He confirmed it as indeed a liberty cap and that he will tell me if he finds any others, it turns out the pasture should be an ideal place according to him. Thanks for your help and im gonna go fool around with the camera try get it working, about 10% of the time it takes a non blurry photo. I thought it was me at first, maybe me shaking it, but even when its stable it still does it. Just gonna go grab the rest of those libs out there, so thanks for your help and good luck!

I am going to say 99.999% lib. Even so, don't eat it just yet.

Yeah, especially the first one looks like a lib. I'd like to see some clearer pics though.

It *is* you, I can guarantee that  You're not getting the focus right. Worry about that first, then worry about the holding-the-camera-still thing.
