Natural Brown Rice??

Ok, so I just went into my local supermarket looking for a huge bag of organic brown rice. This may be a stupid question, hell I feel stupid... Every bag said "natural" brown rice. Nowhere on any brand did it say it was organic. Does natural and organic mean the same thing? I didn't get any because I was thinking if it doesn't say organic that they might of used pesticides or something, and didn't know if that was acceptable. Also, does it matter if it's long grain?

Don't worry about if it's organic or not. If it's safe to eat, it's safe to use.

I second Mickey's post. Use either one. You'll be fine. I actually went to a health food store to buy the bagged flour variant the 1st time I cultivated. Then I wisened up to the supermarket brands. A coffee grinder works wonders.

Thanks for the help guys! Jeez I wish I actually told my girlfriend why I was reading bags of rice when it wasn't on our shopping list. She just informed me that our supermarket has a friggin organic/health section over in what I refer to as, the candy aisle. I'll check that area tomorrow, and if they don't have it, 5 pound bag of store brand for me  :grin: Thanks!
