So i was looking at porn......and saw this

I don't think this supports/encourages "rape" any more than "willshegag.com" supports choking BJ's.

Likewise, I don't think there is any real clear evidence that violent movies TV and video games support such actions.

there's also the possibility that such pornographic fantasies will enable people to live out many fetishes or fantasies that could potentially be harmful to others in their minds (and hands) rather than enacting them.

i think there's a very broad gap between fantasy and action
one of those times societal norms come in handy?

I don't think its wrong. Studies have shown those who watch their fantasies in porn are less likely to try to do it in real life. It could be preventing rape.

Thats right.  Japan is the highest producer of rape-themed porn out of developed nations, but has one of the lowest instances of rape in the world.

Porn is just fantasy, and there is nothing wrong with depictions of fantasy as long as no human rights are violated (e.g. no kiddie porn). The content of porn becomes a problem only in those ignorant parts of the world where there is no sex education for teenagers.

Rape has nothing to do with the fantasies of porn. Rape is when some stupid idiot can't grasp the basic idea behind this simple protocol:

"Knock knock"
"Please come in"

In technical terms, this is a type of SYN-ACK handshake. If the "Please come in" part is missing, for whatever reason, the handshake is not completed.

That might be true but I'm not sure I believe that the low incidence of rape is due to high amounts of rape-themed porn since Japan has a low incidence of crime in general when compared to other nations.

Let's say that some guy did indeed rape some girl passed out at a party and then blamed 'sleeping porn'. Chances are, he was already predisposed to this kind of behavior; much the same way that we might be predisposed to certain types of music. I do concede, however, that predisposition can't be 'proven' and is only called into question in hindsight. My point is that this individual is still responsible for his actions.
