That always drives me nuts, seeing police officer abuse their powers think they can do w/e they want...If it was a normal person parked like that just running in to grab food, they woulda slapped him with a fine so fast his head would spin.

Any of you in this thread talking about killing a cop, just remember never to call one when you need one or you're a fucking hypocrite. You are no better than the asshole in this vid because you're unable to keep things in their proper perspective.  There's ggod cops and bad cops, so by all means, let's kill them all to make sure we get the bad ones.

what would someone need a cop for, to take a report?

my shit got stolen, it turned up in pawn shops, cops had a
report with serial numbers, nothing came of it, no
prosecution, no recovery, nothing more than wasting my time

my assumption

is that she was getting in his face (non physical) and he kinda stuck his nightstick out horizontally to shield her back

and touching someone like that, is infact assault

so she said do it again

then he hockey checked her in the chest/neck

you can be sure, that my fingers will NEVER dial 911 unless someone else in need asks me to, or expects me to if i know they are in trouble.  I can grip with the fact that some people want a governmental service, and even though i am robbed to fund them, i'd sacrifice my principles about govrnment for a family member in need anytime.

so it was failure to comply, again it fall under the guise of
trying to incite riots and mislead people into believing that
they are the innocent victims of police brutality while in
fact again they were trying to provoke the police

I can only say that she was lucky, in similar situations I've
done much worse than that to people that didnt comply with the
instructions I'd given them, I was looking out for their

anyway, i think where we are having the disconnect, is that i do not give credence to the united states government at all, so how could anything they do be considered legitimate use of force when you reject their authority to begin with?

They don't have to be violent to be a pain in the ass.  I was downtown yesterday and these women are fucking annoying.  They walk down the middle of the street, congesting shuttle rides and emergency response vehicles, shouting out songs of peace.  One of them even shouted out they're against all forms of protest!

When you disrupt the flow of traffic in the busiest part of the entire city, that is not peaceful.

just because you dont see it in the video doesnt mean it didnt
happen, the video doesnt show the cop touching her but the one
time but we assume that he did and that's why she says what she did

I've seen lots of vids that dont show the whole story posted
of these acts of 'civil disobedience', most only show the one
sided view, the side the instigators want you to see, how
brutal the police are without provocation... fact is, they
provoked the cops using their 'non-violent' ways, things like
blocking intersections, preventing people from
entering/exiting buildings or using the sidewalk

Ok, but Pris he really could have moved her back in a more civil fashion than smacking her to the ground with a baton.  That man was HUGE in comparison to her.  He could have picked her up by the shoulders, carried her and set her down.

Police should use the littlest amount of force necessary to solve a problem.

Will americans ever learn peaceful protests don't work anymore?  The government has new laws that allow it to be more aggressive towards its citizens, peaceful or not.  We need to make those 6lb smokebombs like in that one thread and fight back. :crankey:

There is no justifying this, if anything, you are just saying that the woman should have predicted it.  I agree, and i am not surprised that it happened, but it does not legitimize their actions.

The man does not have a job to do.  Every single action he took was voluntary and consensual.  Just because you put on a uniform and a badge, it doesn't mean that you have to fulfill the mindset of the character.  Did he have to call her bitch, is that a new law? 

I really don't know what your arguing other than she shoulda known it would happen.  i assume you have similar views to me and are just arguing to argue, so could you clarify?
