To induce lucid dreaming, try a tea mixed with equal measures of the following:  Valerian, Mugwort, St. Johns Wort, Salvia Divinorum, Jasmine, Datura, Mimosa, Chamomile, Nutmeg, Peppermint,and Anise.

Also, it's been a while since I looked into it, but doesn't alcohol typically impair lucid dreaming?

yes, both alcohol and pot limit REM sleep.
