If it is successful and you smoked weed EVERY DAY to induce anxiety eventually it would just be used as a crutch to deal with the anxiety making it no different than any other medication and you would probably not be able to function properly with out it.

and chances are if the drug causes severe anxiety it will only make the problem worse further progressing the severity of the disorder. I guess you could compare it to having a bad trip that you never have a good ending to. When you sober up you have more problems than you did before you took the drug.

You best bet would be to go to a therapist and do it sober while progressively desensitizing yourself to situations that cause anxiety. replacing a drug you don't like with your drug of choice that you do like does not mean your method will miraculously work just because you enjoy it or because its natural.

that is kind of my point... but everyone only saw MDMA so they just jumped back into the drug boat.

the drugs are NOT necessary, and to reiterate, they will only eventually exacerbate any latent issues without allowing your sober mind to cope with anything, at which point you have come full circle again back to your original problem of anxiety only with a possibly different cause, and a crutch that will only weaken your own will power to fix the problem

MDMA cured my PTSD with one hit.

It is now being experimented with in some European countries for the specific purpose of curing PTSD.

it is good to know that responsible users can get use out of these chemicals that obviously have a million and one potential uses, rather than getting use out of them once... and then abusing them for the rest of their lives to mask the problem that they wanted to get away from in the first place.

but that was my point with mentioning mdma, it's an example of a drug with a million uses, not with everyone, but provided the prevention of misuse can solve many peoples problems.

however the most powerful long term fix for most human minds is therapy through exposure or introspection, both of which may find use with pot or shrooms or lsd, or mdma etc. but do not require it.

i think the government is to blame.  they make us do it in our paranoid states cus we have to fear getting caught

drugs should be cellebrated as a society.. this would solve schizo and bipolar

that is relative...

some people are thrown into a state of mental disorder by the use of psychedelics, they may have the condition already underlying in their genetics, but you couldn't solve the problem with that which exacerbated it in the first place

I don't smoke that much pot anymore because of the way it made me feel discombobulated and instilled a rampant feeling of paranoia in me many times. Mississippi cops and bible beaters don't fuck around.

Shrooms have given me some of the most wonderful bubbly times ever, but I have also been through a trip that still makes me question everything about myself.

So now, I drink a substantial amount of beer and drop acid mostly. Weird combo I know, just the way I am.

Different strokes for different folks I guess :shrug:
