We just recived 2 spore syringes Mexican Albino N Cambodion

this will be our 2cd attempt at growing shrooms for all of you who read our posts you know that we tried Lipa Yai and failed honorably but know we are trying LC and BRF cakes dose any one have and comments on these 2 strains such as are they potent large or small flushes and are they good resisters to contaminates??>? :thumbup:  or :thumbdown:

They are both cubes they grow as all other cubes do.

i have read cambodian is fast. any strain that is fast takes over before contamination sets in hopefully. once any substrate is fully colonized it is pretty contam resistant. just be clean. most people say a cube is a cube. meaning they all are close in potensy. with a multispore inoculation there is no way to tell if your grow is going to be potent. one cake from the same strain can be different in potency from another cake. the reason for this is: when spores germinate a thread like apendage reaches out and crosses with another from another spore. when they cross they share dna. this is called a substrain. there are many substrains in a multispore grow. they keep growing and mateing and shareing dna. some substrains are very potent as some are not. by the end of the grow you can only hope that the few substrains that have taken over your substrate are potent substrains. but you can isolate a substrain! by isolating five or six substrains and growing them out,you can fruit each batch and test for potency and keep that culture for every grow. this isnt an easy task for a new person. there is another way lets say you inoculate 3 jars and fruit them: take 3 clones from each tray. grow them out and fruit them. : now you have nine batches to test for potency. keep the most potent culture. otherwise you are just hoping for a potent multispore grow. i advise research on these topics: cloning,strain isolation,isolate,

instead of doing lc's with cakes why dont you move to grains and do some g2g transfers.  far superior to lc's.

so can i use WBS for g2g?

i have a friend that has a huge ass bag of WBS he said he'd hook it up.


when the LC's are done I can use LC to inoculate the WBS right? then just g2g.

yes you can! and shit starts moving fast when you become sucessfull at this. you will have more mycelium then you'll know what to do with. one qt jar can be turned into ten with the quickness via g2g. AND lc's colonize fast because you dont have to wait for germination.

i think the rule is dont go past 3 (g2g) transfers. mycelium gets weak.

cambodian is a really fast colonizer, and pretty resistant. Birthing it cambodians like higher temps. Also a really mindfucking trip.
