99 drive thru???

So I just started a new job at the 99 and I was supposed to go in today for my second day of training. This 99 is right next to a dunkins BTW. So I'm driving down the street and I see blue lights in the distance and I'm thinking a cop pull someone over at dunkins, which would make for a good laugh at work.  It turned out the cop was in the 99 parkinglot . . . along with a wrecker and a firetruck! Some poor old man (a regular) came to pick up his to-go order and instead of stopping in the parkingspot went straight into the front of the building. He broke two windows in the foyer and  part of the wall so they had to shut the restaurant down for the rest of the night! Needless to say I didn't really feel like working tonight anyway!

That is always funny when someone makes a drive thru.
Some drunk took out a fish market in the town that I grew up in.
I went by the place that night and laughed my ass off at the car sitting in the building.
No one was hurt by the way.
Good way to get a day off.

In my old town some old couple were in a Buick and had just eaten breakfast when the driver hit the gas while he was in drive instead of reverse.  He plowed into the restaurant while it was at full capacity at about 10 a.m. on a Sunday morning.  Nobody was hurt but I knew people that were there, they said it was fucking pandemonium inside...people just can't stay responsible and mature when shit goes wrong huh?

Anyways, at least you got a night off...I used to love when freak accidents happened at my old job and I didn't have to work, almost as good of a suprise as finding weed or money in a pair of jeans.

Its almost as good as when I worked at applebees and the clothes dryer in the back caught on fire when the towels that came out of the washer weren't completely clean! We had a chemical fire and had to evacuate the entire restaurant.... Best part was the bartender Rich got everyone of his customers to pay before they left!
