SWIM has just been offered pure psilocybin.. now SWIM would like to know prices before he gets it so he doesnt get ripped off.

SWIM is probably going to get ripped off regardless, never heard
of anyone selling pure psilocybin, they're probably selling some
research chemical instead, that in it's self can be dangerous
because of dosage

no its not some kind of research chemical.. SWIM has aquired this from the same person before.. it was very good! but SWIM wants to get more this time.. so he needs to check prices. with little money in the game SWIM doesnt care to get ripped off. as long as the stuff is superb.

Its more than likely a research chemical...

I guess it could be if he's a chemist or knows a chemist. High Times did a write up about the synthesis of psiolocybin, and its not easy. I've never heard of someone being offered it.

Yes I really doubt it's pure psilocybin. It's not very stable, and difficult to make.

RC for sure. I've heard of methanol extractions that make a crystalline psilocybin substance, but it definitely wouldn't be a "mass market" thing.

Basically, some dude is ordering a chem, likely a 2c-x off the net, doubling the price, and ripping you off.

Theres no set price for something like this.  Its whatever you think its worth.

Theres a good chance the person selling you it is lying.

Psilocin has been known to sell for $250 per gram though.

sillycybin can be extracted with ethanol, so someone with pounds of mushrooms could make it into pure crystal pretty easily, especially if they had a distiller/re-distiller. 

ive always thought that crystal would be a good way to sell shrooms because its so compact.

as far as prices, measure out a dose that you feel is equal to 3.5 grams or whatever your reg. dose is, and go from there

Shrooms are pretty compact though.

When they were legal here (yes shrooms were legal!) I used to compress 3g into a pill with a funny shaped pollen press.  The pill was about the same size as the large vitamin c pills.

For some people the smallness of the crystal would be their difficulty.  A dose would be weighed in mg so a good scale would be required.

I mean honestly it has the same effects as psilocin as it is converted into psilocin rapidly so it isn't exactly an RC.  Pretty much the closest thing you are going to be able to get to synthetic psilocin is this compound.

Seems like a waste of time to do any refinery for sale purposes. So much easier to just puree and capsulate. Unless it's just for the fun of the chemistry, but that's usually not the case for distribution of something easier to manufacture.

that shit drives me nuts.

most people that would extract psilocybin to that point wouldn't go through the hassle of trying to sell it. There is absolutely no reason to do so when he would lose so much "active" product in the process of extracting it.

I'm guessing RC just like everyone else. He's probably passing it off as "psilocybin" because he can't pronounce (or remember) the chemical name of what it actually is.

If it were really psilocybin, I'd expect to pay about $1-1.50/mg, or $300-500/g wholesale.  It would take some real convincing to make me believe it were legit tho.
