Could I sprinkle activated charcoal on my BRF cakes to initiate pinning and help prevent aerial rhizomorphic growth. I am growing Puerto Ricans and I want to prevent cauliflower.

I have heard that activated charcoal resembles beneficial nutritious bacteria that initiate pinning and occur naturally in the wild. The peurto rican strain is very vigorous and rather than fruiting it grows rhizo in the air sometimes and I am wondering if activated charcoal can help this situation.

highley unlikley.  look up pinning triggers in the search function and follow those.

It doesn't initiate pinning, nor does it combat the desired aerial rhizomorphs, which indicate a healthy cake.
