serious poll about the pub mods

this is a serious poll. do not delete this thread or lock it, they wouldn't unlock my other one, so i have to post a new poll with a new question. it does not violate any rules. this isn't an attempt to troll, or OTD vs PUB.

how is it fair, that we can elect mods but not impeach them??

anyways, vote.

edit: had to edit thread title to pub mods since they moved my thread from the pub for no reason???
do some mods need to re-evaulated?

Internet politics :rolleyes:.

I think most of the moderators here are pretty sound... I would make a few minor alterations, but this just my opinion and this doesn't hold the slightest bit of weight as its not my position to judge who runs this site.

It's not fair because you can't elect them. You can suggest them, which you all did. But you can't impeach them because the administrators and other moderators are the ones who had the final say in who the new mods are.

I spose there should just be a complaint procedure, then if they get too many serious complaints about a mod or if a mod breaks the rules themselves they could have their power taken away.

Thats if we are gonna be fair about it but life ain't fair and nor are many internet boards!:crazy:

I've had no problems with any mods whatsoever.  I've heard of some personal grudges used as bans but havent seen any first hand, only lots of whining.  IMO, i think whoever has been getting banned and whatnot has had it coming to them.

I used wonder what was up with some of the P&S mods.  I'd make a thread about philosophy and it would get moved then I'd go back in there and see Swami had made 20 posts about what he had for tea but they were apparantly acceptable.  More strange than bothering though, I just quit posting there.  I know when I'm not wanted!
