pot is not the same for me now as it was when i started smoking, but IME smoking weed while tripping go hand in hand. when i'm on my thursday/sunday work schedule weed keeps me grounded when i get home and helps kill my anxiety, so i smoke on an every day basis. i can't buy regular herbs from around my way because shwag weed will do abosolutely nothing for me, so i have to go to my connects and pay around 100 or more for just a quarter of some seriously heavy shit ( i knowim getting ripped but i'm in south philadelphia its kind of hard to get good stuff) regardless its a struggle and i have to pull some strings but i always have some fine herbs, but to answer your question it has most definitely changed, but whatever.

Its hard to say whether weed has been different or not, since I first got high about a month after the first time I tripped.

That said though, I think my subsequent trips have made weed subsequently more psychedelic. I also feel like I'm more aware of all the aspects of the weed high now.

Same here. When it really comes down to it, weed is the only drug I'm completely comfortable with.

Pot is my drug of choice by far. But I find her best taken in moderation, she can be abused like anything else.
As for psychedelics, smoking marijuana is usually the perfect mix.. for me personally. Not so much with acid, because well... when I'm tripping balls I don't even seem to really notice the effect pot has on me. Mushrooms is a whole different story.. IMO they are match made in heaven.

I can get more withdrawn and introverted on the pot, but I never get anxiety or panicky or anything like that.. pot has like.. the opposite effect on me. Especially after a strong trip.. it's like one of the most relaxing things I can possible do. But over the years one thing I've come to understand is that not everyone reacts to marijuana the exact same way. Some people need frequent breaks, some people are probably just better off not smoking it.. some people can smoke it all the time. I don't pretend to know why but I suspect there are neurological as well as psychological factors involved. But in my experience, when pot loses its "magic" for you, that's probably a good indication you should take a break from it for a little while and clear the old noggin out.

Yeah, I hate pot.  It really upsets me lately.  The past 3 times I've gotten high I've ended up crying my eyes out.  And also I feel it makes me dumb, anxious and afraid.  Of course I've also been an emotional wreck in general the past week.  But still: I don't like it anymore.  The next time I quit, it'll be for good. 

Saying that, I'm eyeing some KB my roommate just brought home and wondering if it's worth trying any.  I haven't taken a break in a month.

Fair enough. Weed is like a guaranteed good time for me. For others, it's obviously not.

I remember when I was in high school all I would do was get blazed every single day all day. Weed was really all  worried about, I would think about it from the minute I woke up, to when I fell asleep. Even as son as I got out of school everyday, I would either be on my way to smoke, and if I didn't have any i would be looking to get more. I learned my lesson tho bigtime.

But back in those days is was a lot fo fun, with no worries.

For me now, weed just ain't the same. Me and my friends have brought this point up many times, in fact me and a friend were talking about this last night, blazed of course :tongue2:

But sometimes I've noticed if I smoke weed, in certain circumstances and situations I'll get to into my head, and start thinking about and analyzing everything too much. It'll make me space out and even act sketch as fuck....yea its no fun.

But then it really gets me how, other times ill get baked and just have a great time! :shrug:

It changed for the worst for me. It because a much more paranoid high. I blame amphetamine abuse, and I am hoping to get back into smoking cannabis one day after a few years of a sobriety break.
