the account FunkyFungi should just be banned....
don't kill it, someone will register it and hijinks will ensue
but take away posting rights
and if that person desires to post again he/she can just get a new name and start over
ends the confusion

Yes, I believe that we should alter the source code, and re-compile it, so that this sort of thing never happens again, or at the very least, get some congressmen debating it on C-SPAN...

the thing about leaving it up to the user
is that the user has posted that numerous people have access to the account, which is why funky shit happened.
if that is true
then which version of the user would cancel it?
you don't know who is pulling the strings, so to speak.
so my humble opinion is pull the plug and move on.

I agree. Nothin but drama. Ban her.... if she wants a new account, she can sign up for one...but FunkiFungi is nothing but trouble. Maybe if she had a different account with a new **secret** password, whoever is accessing her account would fack off.

you didn't read very far into those threads
after she "passed away", there were further posts from the account saying "this is funkyfungi, i don't know who the fuck is posting with my account this is fucked up" and stuff to that effect.
