wtf i smoke about a pack a day and all the sudden every cig makes me want to throw up

I've been smoking about a pack a day but recently i've been cutting back just somewhat to around like 1/2 - 3/4 a pack a day. All the sudden since like 3 days ago, every cig i smoke makes me feel like i am going to puke while smoking and it stays for like 20 mins after smoking.

idk wtf happened. Why all the sudden are cigs making me feel TERRIBLE. IT sucks because i keep smoking them because i keep wanting em but every time i do i want to puke and feel like death for like 20ish mins.

Anyone else ever have this?

yeah.

haven't smoked a cigarette since. 

i attribute it to somethin biological

like the way i hated certain foods as a kid, but now love em.

i guess you 'grew out of em'

Your body is rejecting the poison. I've had the same thing happen with coffee. I took a long break, a few months. You should probably just quit smoking.

two words:

commit lozenges.

they worked for me, almost too well, been smoke-free for almost 6 months now after 8 years of it. after the first package is up get jolly ranchers and life savers to ween yourself off the lozenges as well, following the 6 week plan is useless and just used by them to make profit off of you.

Don't smoke cigs, but it has definately happened to me with weed. And no, not cuz I was smoking some dirt either. It would happen with various kinds of bud.

Just took some time off, then I was back to normal.

Just quit smoking cigs anyway. Not good, and way too expensive. Not like weed is cheap, but whatever!

fuck all the quitting schemes. youre a human being, youre capable of saying no to a cigarette. if you can do it once, you can do it permanently. just force yourself to have the willpower and you can quit for nothing. in two weeks youll be smoke free, withdrawal free, and you wont be spending money on anti smoking shit

That happened to me once I expirimented with DXM. Then I quit the DXM, now I smoke again.

yep.

your body is in revolt and is telling you to knock that shit off. its terrible for you, and this is just the beginning as far as suffering goes.  anytime you change unhealthy habits to try and get healthier your body goes through a short stage where it actually feels like its getting worse for a bit, then it gets better.  its your body trying to expel the toxins you have built up.


with all of the knowledge and research proving how horrible cigs are for your health, it really boggles my mind as to why anyone would continue.  :kingtard:

I don't smoke cig's. If I did I would feel that way after EACH one. Cigs are just too harsh on me. I much prefer a nice weed strain.

i have been addicted to coke and dope(not heroin -- just painkillers like morphine and oxycontin), both of them put together couldn't equal the power of the addiction nicotine gives, it almost becomes a bodily function to smoke a cigarette.
