Mushroom Identification

Hello. I just got back from hunting, and found something that I am not completely sure what it is. I would like to think that they are psilocybe cubensis, but I am not for certain. They seem to be somewhat discolored from the sun, if that is possible. Some do have a veil on it, but instead of it being a purple they are a white/creme color. I was thinking that this is possibly from the sun, but I could be mistaken. The gills are a deep purple or possibly black. I am going to try to make some spore prints, but I don?t know if they are going to make because they are so dry. Here are some pictures, hopefully you can fill me in with something.

I think you might have the poisonous Morgans Green Gilled mushrooms.

so far these are the only mushrooms i have been able to find while hunting. i dunno if cubes just don't grow here, or i dont know what the problem is, but since i've been hunting i haven't been too successful at all. :frown: oh well, i'll keep hunting and maybe one day i'll find something.

Hey downt1me,

Well you just gotta keep shroomin those fields and continue looking. Mushroom pastures go through phases of which types of mushrooms grow during different seasons.. sometimes the weather conditions and other factors make it so that the Cubies are not growing. Other times the Cubies will be up and growing.

YYou may also try looking in other fields too.

Those appear to be the poisonous GGreen Gilled Lepiota mushrooms though.

Sure look like green gills to me to. G GreatOne234 is correct. Yet I still am amazed at how many see purple colors and blue colors when they are not.
