I find it amazing how abortion is demonized even by pro-abortion folks.

Honestly, sometimes abortion is the only intelligent course to take. Better to have no baby at all than to have a baby that will grow up in a shitty environment with young parents that are too busy trying to sort out their own shit to deal with the shit inherent in a brand new person.

I respect people who make a moral choice not to have an abortion, but the decision to have an abortion is just as morally valid. Even if you're the man in the relationship, said you couldn't handle it, and threatened to leave - this is only human, only reasonable. You made a tough decision. Everybody who would've been involved is probably better off.

No, they really won't.  Even if the woman had 7 eggs ready at waiting, most of the sperm would die.  Also, the sperm would ALL die and be reabsorbed if you did not ejaculate, and they ALL would die if you had sex with protection or if there was no egg waiting to be fertilized.

This is my entire point, jackass. A zygote or an embryo is no more sentient than a sperm cell or an egg cell, but they all have the potential to become so.

Fetal abortions (third trimester) are where we get into tricky business, when the brain is actually somewhat developed. Take note that third-trimester abortions are also illegal. But before that, it's just a bunch of cells. Like the billions you've already wasted.

I say good on ya for the abortion, especially as you state you're not ready for it.  However, it sounds like you gave your girlfriend no choice but to have one.  It took both of you for this to happen, so it seems rather rude to give her a choice of either losing the baby or losing you. This is possibly one of the most difficult things she's ever gone through in her life and really just needs your support and understanding right now.  Please be more responsible in the future.

i paid for the whole thing.
all $600 of it. i made sure the place was one of the best.
all women doctors. this procedure called "aspiration", it takes 5 minutes.
they insert a tube into the cervix and just blow some air into it to "help the period down". easy as pie. they played norah jones.
i have on guilt at all.

Not always.  A large percentage of fertilized eggs fail to implant into the uterine wall and get flushed down the toilet during the next menstruation.  This is why I believe life begins at conception, but rights begin at birth.
