I'm not a doctor so take this advice as you please.

A doctor knows as much about a drug that he gives you as you or me could find on the internet. I quit being treated like a lab rat, and given different things until one worked and spending money. There are web sites that you can research any anti-depressant, and know more about it than the doctors do. So I went to this approach. I found out what might work for me, and tried it.

I ordered them online. There are many sites that sell them fairly cheap, and some that will even write you a prescription for a consultation fee. Then you can take the prescription to walmart, and get it filled for 5-10 dollars. The prescription also comes with a couple of refills so the price evens out.

Just a thought. I did it, and I treated myself. Many doctors you see will give you whatever it is they have on hand via the drug reps that come by and push these drugs. They don't know much about them. I mean are anti-depressants that different? No, but you may have success with one, and fail with another.

Piracetam! !!! I find it very very usefull.. lifts my mood. very safe and it's just over all good..

also make sure you start dosing on fish oils and multi vits...
some of these things start to kick in days after consumption so don't lose patients!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i believe alcohol is a depressant so id stay off the homebrew.

the coffee is a stimulet with a heavy let down with withdrawal, so unless your drinking it you will feel like crap.

your best bet is to do a total water detox for a month, and prob start some st. john wort like shroom suggested.

lastly find something you really enjoy doing, and whenever you start to feel bored have something fun ready...stay bissy and feelin well

You could try Poppy Pods from ebay. That is going to be a double edged sword though, it will help you with your depression/pain but you will become physically dependent. And...one day, pods are not going to be allowed on ebay, so it might not be good to get hooked on those.

"If we could sniff or swallow something that would, for five or six hours each day, abolish our solitude as individuals, atone us with our fellows in a glowing exaltation of affection and make life in all its aspects seem not only worth living, but divinely beautiful and significant, and if this heavenly, world-transfiguring drug were of such a kind that we could wake up next morning with a clear head and an undamaged constitution - then, it seems to me, all our problems (and not merely the one small problem of discovering a novel pleasure) would be wholly solved and earth would become paradise." - Aldous Huxley

popppy pods aren't a good idea, once you take them for a while, the times you don't have them, your pain will be even worse.
