Hippie's Neglect Tek, has anyone tried it?

For those who do not know Hippie's Neglect Tek is standard PF. Standard except for the jars are exposed to light (induces pinning) the entire time and the cake are not birthed except to harvest each flush. How well has it worked for anyone? Any pointers? Any comments?

Many people have tried the tek, and it is solid. It's usually recomended to beginners as most people around here feel that they want full sized fruits, and more of them than can be conveniently grown invitro. No pointers, just do the tek. It's the absolute easiest way to grow with the smallest chance of contams.

Invitro does work but it's not nearly as much fun!

It's a tek that makes it possible for practically anybody to grow shrooms and not get caught....very stealthy :cool:

If your climate can support it, growing outside is easier.

I've never had a really good invitro flush (but alot of folks have...).  In my friends experience, they grow REALLY slow and the % of abhorts is signifigantly higher.  He tries to follow all the rules, and occasionally gets a decent fruit or two, but mostly it has been underwhelming.  Let me be the first to say that the problem is almost certainly him, but who knows what it is??  Anyway, learning about casings and reaping the rewards is much more fun :laugh:

I appreciate all the feedback. From what I have read Hippie claims to be able to reap 115 dried grams from just 24 jars. Is this even remotely possible? I mean 50 dried would be pretty sweet.

I think you should just crumble the cakes and case them, but that's just my opinion.  :grin:
