Salmonella and tomatoes....no worries here!
    #8624661 -

I rented a house this summer.  The previous tenant had planted a garden.  By the time I moved in the tomatoes were coming on strong.  So I have had fresh, homegrown tomatoes since I moved in here.  I harvested again this morning.  This is the third time in less then a month that I've had this many sitting in my sink.  I've been giving lots away because I can't eat em all.  Gonna go spread the love again this weekend.

Fresh veggies FTW!!

Also, I have lots of healthy onions growing and there is some kind of squash/melon thats just flowered and started to produce fruit.  Looks like it might be zucchini, but I can't tell just yet.  If it continues to do as well as it is now I'll have tons of fruit off it as well.  The peppers and eggplant are struggling though.  They don't like the summer heat and I don't think I'll have anything usefull off of those plants.

Be sure and pick those tomatoes yourself.. Don't hire Mexicans to pick them and you should be alright.
