We begin dying the second we are born.

True death, death of the spirit, often comes far before the physical death of oneself. That I believe is what makes someone great, the survival of their spirit, of their direction and purpose even after the shell has passed on.

That depends upon your definition of death.  By one definition, we are alive until we are not, and the absence of life = death.  By another, we are doomed to die from the moment we are conceived, and thus are dying as soon as the sperm meets the egg.

indeed, however i said dying, not dead. So it is a literal concept..the air we breath, the sunlight we are exposed to.

It is all killing us, albeit slowly.

It's also keeping us alive.   Again, it really depends upon how you view mortality.  If being conceived is a death sentence, then dying begins immediately.  If being conceived is the beginning of being alive, which is only interrupted at the very end, then dying begins immediately prior to death.

I'm scared of Vampires :tongue2:

My advice is to find those things that give pleasure and do them often without too much attachment and relax and wait for the show to end.

I like free markets and all. Truly I do, at least in general, but there needs to be some kind of oversight in recognition of sustainability. Life works the same way, on a bunch of sustainable systems. Why not honor what made us what we are and take some lessons? Nature FTW!
