Identification please.

Possibility of a P. Subb...
Just hear me out =D

Habitat - well fertilized lawn in central florida

Gills - the picture does not do a great job of showing, but they are a darkish brown, connect at the top.

Stem - thin white/brown somewhat shiny (I have heard subbs have thin stems in lawns)

Cap - Brownish red color on top fading into a somewhat gray color

Spore print - Black

Bruising - I did not see any color change


If these arent subbs, I am assuming I am looking in the right place...

Im going to say foes. More bell shaped caps as to where subbs kinda plane out. Spore prints look more like foes.

Well the gills do not grow below the margin, and the spore prints are definitely not brown (I have some identical species that I printed longer and it is definitely black.

If the spore print is truly black, and it appears to be, then those are likely subbs.  I've certainly seen subbs that have that general appearance.

Well I will dry them out and save for later when I can get some more info. Any possibility of them being deadly poisonous?

They are not poisonous for sure because they are clearly in Panaeolus and nothing from that genus is toxic.

If the prints really are black they probably are Panaeolus subbalteatus.

It also looks like Panaeolus acuminatus because of the long thin stem. 

GGreatone234 would probably call these pan casters.

There is a decent chance that they are active but the pics aren't clear enough to see if they are foes.

Post a pic of the new print, ptry to kee the camera steady if you want to be sure they're active and not be let down when you eat them expecting a trip if they're not.

That looks more like a very dark purple brown that would indicate foes.
