Craig's List prankster. . .

Buyers beware. . . . .


So as some of you know I've recently started  showing Kirby vacuums, well today's appointment took the cake. I almost felt bad for this lady (I'd feel worse if she had bought a vacuum lol jk).  Anyway, I was there for a few hours and she kept getting these phone calls from men replying to "her" Craig's List ad. . . . The kicker is she didn't place one.

The first few guys hung up after she asked them what the ad was for, then one guy finally told her she apparently had an ad up for an erotic escort and it showed a picture of a 20ish voluptuous blond :jennajameson: (BTW she's a brunette and like 45ish) and her phone number. Over the next few calls people told her she had an ad up for things from $900 speakers to a golf cart! While I was there she received like 10 phone calls, for a grand total of 17 for the day (so far)! At this point she was getting really pissed off and was talking about calling the police and what not. One of the guys who called told her she could find out how to get the ads taken down by going on the website and doing some stuff but the REAL kicker here.... this Lady had no computer!!!!!! She had several ads posted with her number and no computer and no easy way of taking them off!

Hope she has fun answering her phone for the next few days. . . .

PS if you saw her ad today and called her (you know who you are) tsk tsk tsk hahahaha! but thank you, you made my day more entertaining!

I like free markets and all. Truly I do, at least in general, but there needs to be some kind of oversight in recognition of sustainability. Life works the same way, on a bunch of sustainable systems. Why not honor what made us what we are and take some lessons? Nature FTW!

I heard a news story that some guy went away for the weekend, and upon his return all of his stuff was gone.

Some one, probably as a prank or act of revenge (incredible revenge!!), had made a post on craigslist, saying that the guy was moving, no longer wanted his things, and was letting people into his home to take all of his stuff.

I saw it on the news a few months ago. The whole time I was thinking "what did this guy do to piss some one off so much?!"

you can go online to organization like.

KKK
neo-nazi
jehova's witnesses
mormons
etc.

and make a house call to discuss information about joining.  Its great.  You can also go to the post office and get a change of address card and change someones address, then all their mail gets routed to canada or wherever.  though that requires a forgery to complete, since you ahve to sign the card.
