WOAH!

THREE dollars? That is amazing. Did you see it in theaters or rent? For me it'd be $7 to rent and $10 to see in one of those theaters that shows oldish movies like Cloverfield. Either way it's way to expensive for me to go frequently. I'd find it an honor to waste $3 on a movie, normally it's 10.

Well, back on subject. I had a few friends see that movie before I had a chance and they warned me, plus I never have time for opening night with work and life, but thank god in this case. This looked like it had potential on paper, but right after seeing the first trailer I was wary.
Sucks man, good luck with future movies.

God I need to get off the speed :P

i saw cloverfield in theaters, on a nice screen with a fantastic sound system. one of the most intense movies i have ever seen. so, to each their own i guess.

my thoughts exactly. i am legend, while the premise was cool, the SFX were crap; the CGI was just plain hoaky.

Cloverfield and I am Legend are one time movies, id just be bored if i watched them again.

my dad saw cloverfield and he said it made him really sick to his stomach because every shot is like some guy sprinting with the camera.  my dad said he had to close his eyes it was so bad.  and hes a good critic of films so i trusted him and didnt see/rent it.

Yeah, its a far overused effect. Some TV series are like that too, or use different camera angles every other second.

Thats all fun and games when you're 19, but when you're older you want some peace and quiet :crankey:

im only 24, but i hate that sprint with the camera effect.  it doesnt make me sick persay, but i think its just generally irritating.

i like the moving camera effect, makes it feel you're really there. thought it was a great movie, but too slow during the first half to make it a movie i'd really watch again.

i dunno, makes it feel more real to me. doesnt make me nauseous at all. that's why i think the blair witch project is one of the scariest horror movies ever. makes me feel like i'm right there in the action.
