I saw it last night....
meh, I wish I didn't pay $8 for it.
It was ok but something that probably should've just come out for TV... like on USA or AMC... idk, I felt the same with that as I did with I am Legend, where I liked it but it didn't do 'it' for me.

why don't you skeptics just see it for yourself and decide for yourself.
i saw it, i thought it's the most intense movie i have ever seen. some amazing "oh......shit." moments. if you get motion sickness easily, you might want to sit farther away from the screen. those that were sitting close, i noticed had to move a bit farther back. my buddy who i went to see it with, also got a little nauseous.
i really recommend this movie.

I just got back from seeing it... Whoa! I was sober and was tensed up for a good half hour after it ended. Defimately go see it. As for the nausea, I felt slightly queezy but nothing close to barf-worthy.

i thought the movie sucked, it didnt have a different end of the world scary movie theme, just like monster in the city and then people dieing and it ended early out of nowhere, ending suked bad too.
I Am legend is a better movie. so are many more..

I am Legend is quite possibly the worst movie I've ever seen. It was a complete yawnfest and if that guy thought the ending to Cloverfield was bed, I can't even imagine how he can say I am Legend was better.
THere were a few scenes in Cloverfield where I actually got goosebumps running up and down my arms. I thought it was incredibly well done and should win an Academy Award for sound design...

both the movies are in the same category imo. One has a 1st person view while the other is 3rd.
it would seem like the same asshole directed and produced both movies.
They both had their moments but definately can never compare to the first time I saw Spiderman I.

I was blown away by spiderman 1. maybe you saw it in a shitty atmosphere or came in w/ a different mindset.

CF left me disappointed. I don't mind a shaky camera, like for instance the technique used in The Bourne Ultimatum, but this movie would've been better off if it was shot from a different perspective. Constantly running and jumping in first person is better suited for a motion simulator, not for cinema IMHO.

It was nice to see extensive scenes that keep you locked in the moment. But I personally just didn't like the style. Oh well!

at least you explained your opinion, and i can completely respect that, even though i differ in mine in regards to the movie. i hate it when people just say stuff like "that movie was gay" or "that movie sucked". well dammit people, explain what you mean by "gay" or "suckage"!!!

I felt like this movie really personified a lot of human fears...particularly anything that has to do with an infrastructure being decimated under unknown circumstances.
I came into this movie expecting it to be a typically lame monster movie. And although it answered no questions, and the point of view as well as the script (seriously...what girl would where heals and then carry them in such a scenario?) I was pleasantly surprised by the 1 twist they put in.
Overall I was tense the entire movie, and I dont really dig monster movie. Plus it was short for my attention span
