I was a total TV junkie. I lost at least 2 hs a day with it, until we moved in with my bf (hi, lepe!) and decided no tv at all.
I find feeling a lot less paranoid than i used to. You stay out of most conversations at work, what who the fuck cares

I'll watch certain shows occasionally when my friends tune-in; however, I find that high speed downloads off torrents of ANY movie I want is superior to hoping the cable movie channels actually play something interesting/different.

Why is there a trend among the shroomery that acts as if people who don't watch tv are better than thoes who do?  I enjoy getting high and watching late night tv and theres nothing wrong with doing so.  I think its just a bunch of high and mighty hippie bullshit and that probably most if not all of the people who claim to not own a tv do infact own one.

The Shroomery has filled my void for
videogames, and T.V., and the inclination to watch movies slowed down slightly.

When I am not busy workin', or making
stuff, I'd much rather interact with
real people and much more challenging
thoughts than the passive options.

I must admit I prolly catch an hour a week
from here and there watching; and occasionally
something worthwhile does come on, to be fair.

I love stimulation. Word.

i watch it a little sometimes cause my mom has it on. Shes the only reason i don't sell it, its such garbage. Anything worth watching in terms of shows is best downloaded online, without having to deal with a rape of commercials that all treat you like a retard.

Cable is very very expensive and it still has commercials every 7 minutes or so. Torrents are a much better deal.

I hate the way commercials are so loud and fast and repeat themselves endlessly--they tortured me into no longer watching TV.

I use the internet as well.  Grew up without television.  My house mate has basic cable but I never seem to sit down and watch it.

We don't have a tv at our place, we usually spend our time mixing music, playing putt-putt mini golf (in our back yard), smoking herb, oh and reading TONS of books. I like good movies and such but the advertising and all the crap on cable television sucks.

Unfortunately, I don't have weed right now, but I DO HAVE HASH :cool:
