Are the three major TV networks (ABC, NBC, and CBS) going to die?

I'll admit that I haven't watched ABC, NBC,or CBS in years. I have no clue what their prime-time lineups are like. I absolutely am bored to tears and annoyed when I watch sitcoms...and that's what a lot of prime-time programming is. Seriously...sitcoms suck so much.

When I was growing up, there was only NBC, ABC, and CBS. Those were the only channels that were available to watch. With cable and satellite we now have the option to watch hundreds of different channels. Do you think the big three will survive all of this competition? Will they adapt?

They'll have to adapt if they want to survive...I haven't watched network TV in what feels like forever. Cable is getting more and more customized.

There's a channel for everything nowadays.

Ok, maybe the companies themselves won't die...but will the classic TV network channel die? Will the local news showing, talk show showing, sitcom showing channels go the way of the dodo?

Nope they wont die for one simple reason. We have far to many poor people, and those channels are free =)
