Something is wrong.

We, here at the Shroomery, have grown accustomed to the wave after wave of new, uninteresting, mindless new people. Some are cool, some stay, and become a true shroomerite. I'm all for that.

But for every hit, there are multiple misses. I have witnessed today, two travesties. Two threads, here in the Pub, by two separate, new members. Both female, both obviously out of touch with reality. And both posting about reality television involving two of the three most popular Simpson's. OJ being the third.

First, a thread about Newelyweds,
then a thread about Ashlee Simpson.

Something is going on, I'm thinking one of the major TV Networks, has penetrated the online communities. But it could just be the shroomery is appealing to the wrong demo-graph.

Ne members should be put up against some questions. It could be an elimination process, and we could weed out the worthy from the tripe....

does anyone feel me? or is this a stoned rant?

im going to agree w/ funky - i've seen a lot of puppets but this is just WEIRD.

the fact that two different names were made - both talking about MTV shows (Jessica and Ashlee's shows) - it's weird. very weird considering how much that person actually knows about the shows based on his/her questions.

we are considered a "scene"... or a "social group" of people here at the Shroomery and I don't see why MTV WOULDN"T wanna tap our vein and test us out.

Oh yeah, you've got a point there, monk. Maybe it's too surreal to be real, eh? A tightly interwoven net of high ranking officials all conspiring to force feed the masses with pop culture and the Simpson family. It's a plot so deviously constructed that nobody would ever think it true.

I should note, that I don't suspect there mom to be involved. She's a woman, and motherly love only goes so far, she's jealous.
