I vote for Whiskey. While a lot of other members are nice and levelheaded, Whiskey knows this place best from what I have seen. I dunno, he just seem on par with OMR, and OMR is like THE mod. So yeah, one vote for Whiskey.

Oh, and the obligatory self vote, because I like to abuse power. >:3

Aww, thanks dude! I appreciate it, but I tried the moderator thing once, and it just made me avoid the Shroomery because I felt weird about being an authority figure.

What exactly is involved with moderating? What I mean is what are the duties of a Shroomery Moderator?

Do Prospective Shroomery Moderators need any kind of extra computer knowledge aside from normal surfing skills like HTML to be considered?

How much time on the Shroomery do you want from your moderators per week?

Also, I'd like to recommend a Pub-Wide vote for prospective new mods if that doesn't conflict with your hiring process.

This may be redundant or ignorant but I'd like to know exactly what's being offered.

Though I don't post as much, I read a ton of threads here every day.  I'm not one to rat people out so I rarely flag a post but I find myself constantly wishing there were an "edit"  button above every post in a lot threads I've stumbled across here.  It doesn't seem to be the Pub I knew back in '04, it really feels like OTD's little brother. :lol:

I'm definitely going to make a better effort to blow the whistle on stuff here now, whether that makes me a rat or not.  Ripple you've basically said what I've been feeling for a while now so I'll definitely step up and do my part regardless of an "M" sticking off the side of my name.  :thumbup:
