Dan is right, I am hustling as fast as I can to get all wood lovers in the ground in the next month or so.

Dung species seem more forgiving with fimentaria and semilanceata fruiting from beds planted in the early Fall. Yeah, yeah I know semilanceata is not technically a dung species but that is what I made my bed with. Check my semilanceata page for details.

dan youre right....its the time of the year to start with the outdoor-beds....but you forgot to mention the bohemicas and serbica, stunzees pelliculosa....etc

i have a baecystis patch that looks willing to fruit....id be happy with a few...

work...thanks for the stunzees...they are already on sterile woodchip-spawn

Well, not to be hyprocritical, but my own azure, baeo and cyan patches are a long time in the making; mainly due to the fact that my azures arent even started yet, and my cyans are old and decrepid, slow growing. My baeos refuse to colonize any wood at all, even alder. The only thing my baeos will colonize is cardboard, and they are extremely belated, and slow. What I really want right about now is to have all of my bed spawn ready for planting, right now, as opposed to having barely the agar stage completed. I suppose I will have to fruit them in trays this year, as I will very likely not have the beds ready for planting yet. UUUUUHHHhhhhhhh.......

BiO, yes you are right, I forgot a few of the wood lovers.
