Here's an Admin type question. CiHost does whatever, and crashes the server, which evidently corrupts the mySQL data base record of whatever poor unfortunates were posting at that particular time.
Why don't the Admins just hand edit the mySQL record of the poor unfortunate bugger, and restore what they can, and make up the rest? We all know that Smack had a 5,500+ post count before his deletion.
Also, a user's actual post count could be researched very easily via a SQL call to the database, and, I hope to God, there are periodic backups of the mySQL database, which could also be researched for info. Anyone, with even the most rudimentary PHP/SQL experience and skills, could write the necessary tools to help restore corrupted users. I could do it, quite easily, and I?m sure both 3D and Anno are more than capable of this, so why doesn?t this get done?
