It would be nice to have a link to the sponsors page right at the top of the home page, rather then under all thoes menus on the splash page. I think the sponsors would like it too

One tiny little bar thats about 4 pixels high and looks like its apart of w.e add is running. If you can have a "random forum" button you can certainly have a sponsor button.

I agree...

I have always hated that the Sponsor link button is too close to the Ad banner.

maybe Ythan can seperate by a few more pixels to make it stand out more.

Well the reason it's small is it's supposed to be unobtrusive... it shows twice on every page and the link never changes, I'm just trying to do my part to reduce flashy obnoxious advertising. But if people who want the link can't even find it, maybe I took that concept too far hehe... anyway I messed around with it a little, tweaking the dimensions and adding little "link" images by the text, but in the end I really didn't see an improvement. So I'm open to making further changes, but for now I just increased the height by 1px so it's symmetrical ie. 2px on top and bottom of the text. Hey that's another 468 pixels of prime, 100% active clickable link right there. :wink:

Also note that on the default skin, there's a link to the sponsors page as a top-level menu item:

Thats what I was talking about. The Top-level menu. You have to scroll all through them to find it. A simple link at the top of the page where the "active journals" "search" "games" and all thoes links are.
