Blue honey:::Fact or Fiction?

Has anyone successfully placed fresh mushrooms into honey for preservation and experienced the honey turning colors to become blue? or is that just symbolic of the change that occurs.
i am curious cuz i would like to preserve some fresh shrooms in honey, yet i am not reinforced by anyone who has actually done so and met with the results spoken of. Does the honey really turn blue----does the honey itself become active---or does the shroom still need to be consumed? thanks--all feedback is welcomed.

I did it once it sucked all the water out of the mushrooms and became a layer of water and a layer of honey.All the mushrooms floated around in the top water half.No blue in the liquids.

haha, thought this would be a cool place to share my little find. i just vacuum packed 40g wet hawaiians, refridgerated them, ate 2 days later. during their refridgeration, water transpired out ot the mushies and made a little clear soup in the bag. when i cut the bag open and exposed it to air, the chemicals oxidized and turned blue. it was like magic!

DONT USE WET MUSYIES!!! put them in the honey if there dry or like a rubbery dry so you dont get mold or that water layer... then store in a dark place for 4weeks and all your honey will be blue a dark dark blue and you can put it on your toast,tea etc also you can eat it outside cause no one will know what your spreading on your bagle so hey dont use wet musyies

I would think you would loose potency as that blueing is oxidization of psilocybin...which is not good..
Just dry them or put into chocolate they will be just as good as the day they were dryed.
