What's the BEST way to preserve Shrooms LONG TERM?

Just out of curiosity, i wa wondering if anyone can suggest from real experiance/ real info from foaf's what the best way to store shrooms long term (without affecting potency too much) would be? Any favorite tips/tricks? Let me know if you would be so kind. :)

harvest ---->silica gel for a day ---->vacuum sealer or Co2 injection -----> cool, dark and dry place

that should last at least a couple of years, you can even skip the vacuum step and just use an air tight container

Either crush them or leave them dry and store them in honey indefinatly. This really works good and the honey turns blue in a month or so. Just dip some honey on your finger for a tasty trip. Good on toast and other stuff. I would really recomend you do it this way unless ur sellin them.. laterz

the best way is to cracker dry the mushieswith drierite....then grind as fine powder and put into capsules.
Then put the caps into an air tight containes, like a film canister, with some silica gel and store in the fridge at lowest temp possible.....more than one year as passed since i did it last time and no noticeable loss of potency....

hey great pic Club99

an elfyroundere found some loss of potency
with gelcaps in container with silica gel
so this season put the caps
in a solid (metal/glass) cannister
& mixed in dry powdered chocolate
(like Hersheys Chocolate Milk mix but any powder would do)
compressing the mix nice'n'tight

that way no exposure to air
no need for CO2

& an exciting
treasure hunt
for those caps!
