ordering spore syringes

I have never grown mushrooms and i'm wondering how safe it is to order a spore syringe through the mail? I really don't want to order some spores and end up with the DEA up my ass. Can anyone give me some advice? I'm not a drug dealer just an occasional experimenter

Pay cash and have it sent to a P.O. Box or some third party. Do not send it to your house if you're paranoid. Keep in mind that unless you live in CA or GA, spore are legal for microscopy.

Spores are legal unless you live in Ga, or Ca. Not sure about overseas.

To cut down on the paranoia angle, It takes no great wizardy or arrangments to utilize a close 3rd party recipiant address, then send cash or a blank MO to a "reputable" vendor & acquire whatever spores you wish -- like that. A FOAF did that & acquired numerious strains -- just that way.

Once in hand -- your set. So long as the spores you get are clean & viable. Once you get to the point of doing grain to grain transfers, you should never have to buy spores again (except if you want some new & exotic strain that crops up now & again).

Relax -- go with the flow & take it easy. The great thing about small scale shroom culitivation is that with economy of scale -- it doesn't take a lot of room, electricity, heat, lights or any of the other precursor stuff that could draw suspision or unwanted attention your direction.

If your super paranoid, cultivate a few choice edibles as a "front". That way if anybody asks questions, you can do a "show & tell" with some home grown Shitakes or Portabella's to explain your hobby.

LOL, it also not not wise to bounce naked at midnight on a tramploline in your back yard -- when the moon is full -- with loud rock music blasting the neighbors when your tripping. SixTango

Hey there,

I wouldn't worry too much about syringe orders...Juan/Javier has ordered a plenty of them and they arrived post haste in good condition with no notice just like the rest of the mail. As far as the DEA guys go...well, they like shrooms probably more than you do....heheh!

Well, this is an interesting subject...
If you use a credit card, than there is a paper trail...(payPal or whatever service they use..)
So my question is to these spore vendors, how long do you hang on to credit card info if a customer uses a credit card?

credit card transactions and paypal transactions are kept
by those companies.Even when the vendor destroys records,
the information could be obtained from these other companies.
Paypal keeps a record of what you purchase.I don't like that
the paypal reciepts contained a detailed list of what was purchased.
I liked it when one vendor put all items on the receipt in item# codes,
instead of writing spore syringe it said item #43.

My friend purchased materials from spokreworks and tlg (THANKS!! THEY ARE GREAT... uh he said) and they both came in unmarked boxes (ie, nothing mention mushrooms, or anything illegal). I told my parents it was a book. HEH
